Netrillium Update - May 29, 2008

Hi all.

Here’s an update on the Netrillium situation. I think Bleeding-Idol.org is officially dead thanks to the thieving host that is Netrillium. Don’t believe me? Please read this article written by Jem of Jemjabella.co.uk.

Please, PLEASE be careful if you’re currently with Netrillium. Make DAILY backups of all of your files. Please don’t be a victim like I was. :(

Bleeding Idol - May 19, 2008

Anyone who knows of my other domain, Bleeding-Idol.org is strongly encouraged to friend me at Bleeding Idol@Myspace for full updates and explanations of what has happened with the site. I know it’s a little ridiculous for a website to have a myspace page, but I can’t run the risk of losing visitors due to situations out of my control. I will have a post later today in regards to my previous anti-Netrillum post.

Please stay tuned, as they say.

STAY AWAY FROM NETRILLIUM - May 1, 2008

They SUCK ROYAL ASS. The one domain I haven’t yet transferred has officially been down since SUNDAY. The first hint of “service” I got wasn’t until Monday when they finally contacted me about my ticket (which was listed as “Urgent”). My domain had been down for a full day. My current and far more loved host, Holdfire, takes maybe a few hours at the longest. I’ve never, ever waited more than maybe three or four hours. Mind you, she’s independently owned and has her own life to run. So for this “business” to screw people around like this is ridiculous. My domain is STILL DOWN. Thursday, it’s still gone. First they told me it was going through a server move. Okay, fine. I got an ticket response saying everything was “okay” so I went to check my domain, gone. If you go to http://phoenix-dns.com, you’ll see what I see when I click on my domain name. Needless to say, I’m not happy. Then some b!tch tells me that my domain has been compromised due to an old script or some such crap. Whatever. Fine, I’ll go delete it IF I CAN GET ACCESS TO IT. And that was YESTERDAY. MORNING. This is ridiculous. Absolutely and completely ridiculous. I do suspect the fact that they haven’t yet contacted me is because I’m looking for my EPP authorization. The owner of Holdfire has stated that they’re famous for f@(*ing over their customers when it comes to this. Just peachy. I’m warning you know and please, please heed it. Do NOT sign up with them.

Yes, I know this is a bit blog-ish, but it reaches more people than my “real” blog. :( Be careful…

Still a Bit Fug….But It’ll Do - Apr 8, 2008

So, my site is (more or less) up. I think the fanlistings are all in order, up and have move forms to be processed for them…now I just have to worry about the staffers getting my updated applications. :

I know the layout is less than gorgeous, but I’ve been so horrible about making anything creative short of a perfect dog cookie or dog cake. (Sorry, work-related reference).

I’m adding little bits here and there and currently working on a why page which I hope to add soon. Relatively soon…eventually…hopefully! Anyway, best get working on that and double-checking that all the fanlistings are in order!
